Bolton 0 Liverpool 3

Albert Riera opened the scoreline, and then Robbie Keane struck twice to ensure Liverpool return to the loftiest of league positions.

Pepe Reina: 6 -
Hardly tested throughout the game, and may as well have been on the bench today with an open goal for Liverpool to defend.

Jamie Carragher: 7 -
Slotted into the right back position rather seamlessly, and was very impressive going forward. Almost scored with a cracker of a shot.

Daniel Agger: 6.5 -
A boring day in the office for him like the others in the Liverpool defense, but kept it simple and was solid throughout.

Sami Hyypia: 7 -
Dealt well with Elmander, and was a threat from setpieces too.

Emiliano Insua: 6.5 -
Went close to scoring early on, and was always available during Liverpool's attacks. A confident performance.

Yossi Benayoun: 7.5 -
Benayoun's one of those immensely talented players who never gets their due credit. It was a super display from the twinkle toed Israeli, with an assist for Keane's second goal to show for it.

Xabi Alonso: 7.5 -
Was a typical Alonso performance, neat, classy, and yet hard working. No wonder Arsenal want him.

Steven Gerrard: 6.5 -
A solid performance from the Liverpool captain, and along with Alonso, bossed central midfield with ease.

Albert Riera: 8 -
Stunning effort from Riera, who looked dangerous right from the word go today. Scored a wonderful goal, linked up very well with Insua and Gerrard, and showed some wonderful skills during his stay on the pitch.

Dirk Kuyt: 6.5 -
A very Kuyt-like display yet again. Committed to the cause, neat passing, and impressive link-up play.

Robbie Keane: 8 -
He's been the victim of a lot of negative press recently, but his critics will surely hush up after seeing how he played today. Scored two goals; both brilliant finishes, and his all-round game was top notch.

BOLTON WANDERERS

Jussi Jaaskelainen: 6.5 -
Couldn't do anything about any of the three goals, and made a few good saves, including a fine double-save right at the end. Should really move on to a bigger club.

Jlloyd Samuel: 5.5 -
Went largely unnoticed in the match, and was given a hard time by Benayoun and Carragher.

Andrew O'Brein: 6.5 -
Stood out among the Bolton players, and made a few key tackles.

Gary Cahill: 5.5 -
Not at his best today, and couldn't deal with Keane effectively. Got injured towards the end.

Gretar Steinsson: 6 -
Had a torrid time against Riera, but improved significantly once he went off. Made two or three vital interceptions at the end.

Ricardo Gardner: 5 -
Poor outing for the lad. Was hardly in possession of the ball.

Matthew Taylor: 5 -
Another no-show for Bolton, just like the other midfielders.

Gavin McCann: 5.5 -
Did slightly better than the others, but looked tired and overran. The fact that he was tired despite Bolton having one mroe midfielder than Liverpool says it all.

Fabrice Muamba: 5.5 -
Started brightly, but faded as the match wore on.

Kevin Nolan: 5 -
Could have given Bolton a shock lead in the opening minutes, but was nowhere to be seen for the rest of the game.

Johan Elmander: 5 -
Was chasing shadows throughout his stay on the pitch.
